Sara Spivey

Sara is responsible for leading the executive management team and positioning the company for future growth. Previously, Sara held executive management positions at Convio, rPath, Advanced Micro Devices, and Quantum. She has extensive experience in growth strategy, marketing, and sales operations in large, global companies as well as start-ups. Sara serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Girlstart, an Austin, TX based nonprofit organization whose mission it is to empower girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Shawn's career has centered on financing and building growth stage companies. Shawn has held key positions with Cinque Terra Holdings and Austin Ventures. Shawn earned a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration with High Honors from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Daniel Shimer

Dan has over 40 years of experience operating, building, and investing in growing businesses. Previously, Dan has held leadership positions at Austin Ventures, Shimer Capital Partners, CoreStaff, Computerland, FoxMeyer Drug, Coast To Coast Hardware, and KPMG Peat Marwick. Dan holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University and attended the graduate schools of Loyola University and Stanford University.

Ed's career has spanned a wide range of executive-level positions in marketing, finance, information technology, strategy, product and corporate development, and professional investing. Ed has held leadership roles with A. H. Belo Corporation, Austin Ventures, Compaq Computer, and Motorola Information Systems Group. Ed received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Massachusetts, holds an MBA from Northeastern University and completed the Compaq executive leadership program at Harvard University.
